John S. Dybell, 92, of Jackson went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 30, 2014.
He was born Nov. 30, 1921, in Myslenice, Poland, to John and Katherine Dybel. He married Helen Gonczy in 1944. They would have celebrated their 70th anniversary April 22.
John honorably served his country in the United States Air Force.
He is survived by his wife, Helen of Jackson; children, Ron Dybell (Judy) of Jackson, Laura King (Gary) of Inman, S.C., Lance Dybell (Debbie) of Hammond, Ind., Cassie Zeilenga of Jackson, Pattie Rockhill (Kevin) of Gordonville and Kim Holyfield (Wayne) of Northport, Ala.; a brother, Frank Dybel of Jackson; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
The funeral will be private. Burial with full military honors will be in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield.
