John F. Tarr, 68, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, April 3, 2004, at Southeast Missouri Hospital at Cape Girardeau.

He was born Nov. 9, 1935, at Cape Girardeau, son of John A. and Stella Rosalie Griffaw Tarr. He and Donna Rudluff Tarr were married May 5, 1962, at Cape Girardeau.

Tarr worked for A. B. Dick, Schott and Co. and St. Vincent's Church. He was in maintenance at McDonald's Restaurants in Cape Girardeau. He was a veteran of the Army National Guard and was a member of the Knights of Columbus.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Paul Tarr of Shreveport, La.; two daughters, Tiffany St. Cin of Jackson, Kabrea Tarr of Cape Girardeau; three sisters, Mary Ann Wilhelm of Benton, Mo., Barbara Sachse of Kentucky, Rosalie Brown of Cape Girardeau; and seven grandchildren.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Cy Smith officiating. Entombment will be in Cape County Memorial Park Mausoleum at Cape Girardeau.
