Joyce Kain, 69, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, March 5, 2012, at Saint Francis Medical Center.

She was born Dec. 3, 1942, in Commerce, Mo., to Robert Lawrence and Lillie Vern Rommel Swan. She and Charles A. Kain were married Aug. 18, 1962, in Cape Girardeau. He died June 13, 1995.

She was a member of Hanover Lutheran Church.

Survivors include her children, Bob L. (Paula) Kain, of the state of California, Darlene Broadbent of Cape Girardeau, David (Roxanne) Kain and Beverly (Kevin) Baker of Cape Girardeau; and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by parents, husband, and a son-in-law, Marvin K. Broadbent.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Tony Kobak officiating. Entombment will be in Cape County Memorial Park Mausoleum.

Memorial contributions may be given to Hanover Lutheran Church General Fund.
