Funeral for Juanita N. Gentry of Cape Girardeau will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel. Pastor Jack Cathcart will officiate, with burial in Morgan Memorial Park at Advance.

Friends may call at the chapel Sunday from 1 p.m. until service time.

Gentry, 80, died Wednesday, Oct. 7, 1998, at St. Francis Medical Center.

She was born July 28, 1918, in Mississippi County, daughter of William Henry and Serena Jackson Bond. She and Eugene Wilson Gentry were married Sept. 14, 1941. He died July 16, 1983.

She worked at Lowenbaum Dress Factory 18 years, and was a member of VFW Auxiliary.

Survivors include a son, Bob Gentry of Sarasota, Fla.; a daughter, Sharon Gentry of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Phyllis McBee of Lucasville, Ohio; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.
