Judith Arnold

Judith Marie Arnold, 75, of Cape Girardeau passed away Saturday, Aug. 27, 2022, at Landmark Hospital.

She was born Feb. 5, 1947, in St. Louis to Elmer and Josephine Roth Ferry.

Judith worked in the composition department at the Southeast Missourian for many years.

Survivors include longtime fiance, Danny Newcomb of Cape Girardeau; two daughters, Valerie (Gregg) Winingar of Jackson and Dawn Arnold of Jacksonville, Florida; sister, Jo Ann (Bill) Cronin of Hermann, Missouri; three grandchildren, Michael (Olivia) Arnold, William Winingar and Samuel Winingar; two great-grandchildren, Preston and Laila Arnold; and former spouse, Jerry Arnold.

Judith was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Donald Ferry; and two sisters, Mary "Tootie" Henschen and Betty Smith.

A memorial visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.

Private family burial will take place at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be given to a charity of choice in memory of Judith.
