ADVANCE, Mo. -- Judith Mae Whittaker, 76, of Advance passed away Monday, Jan. 16, 2017, at the Advance Nursing Center.
She was born Nov. 5, 1940, at Advance, the daughter of Manuel and Inas Rhodes Whittaker.
Judy was a 1958 graduate of Advance High School. She was a member of the Advance United Methodist Church and also a choir member.
Judy spent her lifetime taking care of children.
Loving survivors include a brother, Bill (Kay) Whittaker of Union, Missouri; three sisters, Sharon (Dennis) Lorch of Advance, Verrell (Ronnie) Markbanks of Waynesville, North Carolina, and Mitzi (Danny) Seger of Advance; and several nieces, nephews and other family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents, especially Helen Rhodes.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance.
A funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. at the chapel, with the Rev. Jason Davis officiating. Burial will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Advance.
