CHAFFEE, Mo. — Julia Ann Woods, daughter of the late Wright and Maggie St. Cin Shelton, was born Sept. 13, 1951, and departed her life Friday, May 12, 2023, at her home in Chaffee at the age of 71 years.

She was a former accountant for H & R Block and was of the Pentecostal faith.

On Dec. 31, 1971, she was united in marriage to William Marshall Woods in Chaffee. He preceded her in death Jan. 2, 2013.

Survivors include one son, Billy Mac Woods of Chaffee; daughter, Dawn Marie Ward of Scott City; brother, Donnie Shelton of St. Peters, Missouri; two sisters, Bonnie Schott of Scott City and Judith Kalafut of Oran, Missouri; two grandchildren, Megan Crow of Scott City and William Christopher Diggs of Cape Girardeau; and two great-grandchildren, Michaela Duncan and Cambree Crow.

A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 17, at Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.

Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel is assisting in arrangements.
