June James

TAMMS, Ill. -- June M. James, 73, of Tamms, Ill., died Saturday, Nov. 23, 2001, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

James was born June 6, 1928, at Tamms, Ill. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruth McDaniel. She married Darrell E. James.

James was a housewife and mother.

Survivors include her husband, a son, Dennis E. of Olive Branch, Ill., and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother, a son and a daughter and two granddaughters.

Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. at Jones Funeral Home in Tamms.

Funeral will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Tamms, with Rev. Kenneth Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at McCrite Cemetery near Tamms.
