SIKESTON -- Katherine Reeves, 77, of Sikeston, died Monday, Aug. 21, 1995, at her home. She was born May 4, 1918, in Lamar, Ark., daughter of Henry E. and Edna Detharge Crowden. She married Tex E. Reeves, who died Dec. 22, 1984. Reeves had been a nurse aide and a housekeeper at Best Western Motel...

SIKESTON -- Katherine Reeves, 77, of Sikeston, died Monday, Aug. 21, 1995, at her home.

She was born May 4, 1918, in Lamar, Ark., daughter of Henry E. and Edna Detharge Crowden. She married Tex E. Reeves, who died Dec. 22, 1984.

Reeves had been a nurse aide and a housekeeper at Best Western Motel.

Survivors include a daughter, Beverly Crowden of Sikeston; two brothers, Henry Crowden of Summersville, Ala., John Crowden of Las Vegas, Nev.; a sister, Deloies White of Tuscumbia, Ala., and two grandchildren.

Friends may call at Ponder Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park in Advance.
