Kathleen Bartholomew

Kathleen Bartholomew, 77, of Cape Girardeau passed from this life Monday, March 13, 2017, at Southeast Hospital.

The daughter of the late Ed and Thelma Dudley McMasters, she was raised in Manila, Arkansas, and was a 1958 graduate of Manila High School.

She was the widow of Bobby Joe Bartholomew and had lived many years in Union, Missouri, where she worked in the Union School District.

Kathleen had been a resident of Cape Girardeau for over 20 years and was a member of Fruitland Community Church.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Joe Keith Bartholomew.

Survivors include two sons, Gregory Allen Bartholomew of Cape Girardeau and Tod Glen Bartholomew of Cincinnati; a daughter, Denise Hancock of New Albany, Indiana; and a sister, Patricia Kirkland of Valley Center, Kansas. She also leaves four grandchildren

The family will receive visitors from noon until the service time Thursday at Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila.

Graveside funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Manila Cemetery.
