Kay Eifert, 77, of Cape Girardeau died Wednesday, May 8, 2013, at Saint Francis Medical Center.
She was born Dec. 17, 1935, in Marion, Ill., to John Paul and Louise Penrod Felts. She married Billy Dean Eifert.
Kay was a member of St. Andrew Lutheran Church. She had worked for Drury Inns more than 15 years. She was the secretary of Central High School 1950s reunion committee. Kay loved to read.
Survivors include a daughter, Tammy Eifert of Louisville, Ky.; two grandchildren, Taylor Kay Billings of Arlington, Va., and Trenton Wade Billings of Memphis, Tenn.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Terri Eifert Billings.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with Dan Greene officiating. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park.
