BRANSON, Mo. -- Keith Kimmel, 82, of Branson, formerly of Advance, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, June 20, 2018, at his home.

He was born Jan. 22, 1936, in Wayne County, Missouri, the son of William and Emma McGee Kimmel.

Keith was in the U.S. Army, serving overseas in Germany. He had been a civil engineer. He also attended the United Methodist Church in Advance.

Keith and Patricia Ellis were united in marriage Sept. 3, 1955, in Stoddard County, Missouri, and she survives of the home.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Kimmel; a brother, Grover Kimmel of Bella Vista, Arkansas; and a sister, Wanda Kimmel Whitene of Waterford, Michigan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and three sisters.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance.

Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at McGee New Hope Cemetery in McGee, Missouri, with the Rev. Jerry Willer officiating.
