FESTUS, Mo. -- Kenneth Paul Leadbetter, 86, of Festus, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2018, at Fountainbleau Nursing Center in Festus.

He was born Sept. 30, 1931, in Marble Hill, Missouri, the son of the late Myrtle Marie Eaker and Paul Fredrick Leadbetter.

He is survived by his wife, Corrine Sturgeon Leadbetter; daughters, Jeanie (Billy) Cook of Festus, Debra (James) Ainley of Festus and Ellen (Jeff) Corbin of Festus; grandchildren, Christina (Marcus) Vickers, Jim (Jessica) Ainley, Adam (Wendy) Cook, Amy Corbin and Katie Corbin; great-grandchildren, Keaton Ainley, William Vickers, Ainsley Vickers, Corinne Ainley and Micah Vickers; brothers, Arvil (Reba) Leadbetter of Marble Hill, Larry (Brenda) Leadbetter of Glenallen, Missouri, and Wayne (Beth) Leadbetter of Glenallen; and sisters, Glenda (Bill) Woodard of Glenallen, Neda (Tony) Chamblis of San Angelo, Texas, and Melba Leadbetter of Marble Hill.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Cletus (the late Mary) Leadbetter; and sisters, Karen (the late James) Abbott, Dorothy Leadbetter and Wanda (the late James) Williams.

He was retired from the Pevely Dairy and was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church in Festus.

Visitation and funeral services were Saturday at Lighthouse Baptist Church in Festus, officiated by Brother Jim Ainley, pastor of First Baptist Church of Potosi, Missouri. Interment was in Danby Cemetery in Danby, Missouri.

Memorials in his memory are preferred to the Jefferson County Rescue Mission.

Vinyard Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements
