Kenneth W. Spear, 55, of Cape Girardeau passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2022, at Southeast Hospital.
He was born Feb. 4, 1967, in Cape Girardeau to Donald and Margaret Barenkamp Spear.
Kenneth was a 1985 graduate of Cape Girardeau Central High School. He enjoyed trading cards, collecting sports memorabilia, attending Cape Central and Southeast Missouri State University Redhawks games, as well as tailgating with the Moose Knuckles.
Survivors include his mother, Margaret Spear of Cape Girardeau; siblings, John (Kim) Spear, Donald (Heather) Spear and Melody (Charles) Jaco, all of Cape Girardeau; nieces, Lindsay and Holly; nephews, Garet and Max; several great-nieces and -nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Spear.
Visitation will be from 4 to 5 p.m. Sunday, April 3 at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.
A celebration of life service will follow at 5 p.m. with Jerry Swan facilitating.
Kenny gave his smile and his heart to every person he met. He was able to continue to give even after his passing by being a registered organ donor.
