ORAN, Mo. — Kevin Leon Kinder, 63, of Oran passed away Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2023, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Dec. 18, 1959, in Cape Girardeau, the son of James Leon and Margaret Ann Halford Kinder.
Kevin spent many years working as a construction laborer. He was a member of the Advance, Missouri, Eagles.
He was an avid hunter. Training his dogs to hunt was a favorite pastime. He was known as an eclectic man, who had vast interests. He loved spending time with his family.
Survivors include two sons, Colton Kinder and Creighton Kinder, both of Chaffee, Missouri; a brother, David (Linda) Kinder of Marthasville, Missouri; three sisters, Patricia (Becky Bohannan) Kinder of Scott City, Lisa (Gale) Stewart of Bloomfield, Missouri, and Myra (Jerome) Eichhorn of Scott City; a granddaughter, Annzlee Leighton Kinder; four nieces; five nephews; seven great-nieces; and six great-nephews.
Kevin was preceded in death by his parents and a nephew.
Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 27, at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance.
A memorial service will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 27, at the funeral home, with the Rev. George Rendleman officiating. Burial will follow at Morgan Memorial Park in Advance.
