Ann "Kimbo" Hendrix, 39, of Cape Girardeau died Sunday, March 27, 2011, at her home.
She was born June 25, 1971, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Edward W. and Mary A. Scheffer Hendrix.
Kimberly attended the Horizons Enrichment Center day activity program. She was a graduate of Parkview State School and a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
Survivors include her mother, Mary A. Cotner of Cape Girardeau; her father, Edward W. (Carla) Hendrix of Advance, Mo.; a brother, Brian W. (Dana) Hendrix of Goldsboro, N.C.; three stepbrothers, Brandon Tidwell of Advance, Brian and Blane Tidwell of New Orleans; a niece, Cora Elizabeth Hendrix of Goldsboro; two stepnieces, Destiny Creech and Karinne Anderson of Goldsboro; a stepnephew, Seth Anderson of Goldsboro; maternal grandmother, Mary Ann Scheffer of Benton, Mo.; paternal grandmother, Bonnie J. Hendrix of Chaffee, Mo.; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Benjamin John Scheffer; and paternal grandfather, Lando L. Hendrix.
Friends may call 4 to 8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home. Parish prayers will be at 7.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Vincent de Paul Church, with the Rev. David Hulshof officiating.
Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery.
