LAURA MURDOCK

SIKESTON, Mo. -- Graveside service for Laura Geneva Murdock, formerly of Crowder, Mo., will be held at 4 p.m. today at Garden of Memories Cemetery. Pat Hogan will officiate.

Nunnelee Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Murdock, 76, died Monday, Oct. 2, 2000, at Clearview Nursing Center.

She was born Feb. 5, 1924, at Crowder, daughter of Frank Neal and Grace Lusk Adkins. She first married Phillip Glueck, who preceded her in death. She and Otha L. Murdock were married Dec. 7, 1956, in St. Louis.

Murdock had been a bookkeeper at General Dynamics. She was a member of Morehouse Church of Christ.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Michael Glueck of Sikeston; a daughter, Kathy Murdock of Sikeston; two stepsons, Tom Murdock of St. Louis, Robert Murdock of Sikeston; a stepdaughter, Peggy Chappell of Sikeston; two half brothers, Ernest Dietz of St. Louis, Donald Dietz of Deer Park, Texas; a half sister, Reba Lindsay of St. Louis; and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
