JACKSON -- Lawrence F. Koehler, 89, of Jackson died Monday, Oct. 14, 1996, at Missouri Veterans Home in Cape Girardeau. He was born June 26, 1907, at Jackson, son of Henry C. and Mary Belle Baugh Koehler. He and Emma L. Biri were married Nov. 13, 1940. She died Oct. 26, 1991...

JACKSON -- Lawrence F. Koehler, 89, of Jackson died Monday, Oct. 14, 1996, at Missouri Veterans Home in Cape Girardeau.

He was born June 26, 1907, at Jackson, son of Henry C. and Mary Belle Baugh Koehler. He and Emma L. Biri were married Nov. 13, 1940. She died Oct. 26, 1991.

Koehler worked on the family farm east of Jackson all his life. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, and Altenthal-Joerns American Legion Post 158. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Survivors include a son, Larry Koehler of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Alice Leander of Rochelle, Ill.; a brother, Paul Koehler of Cape Girardeau; three sisters, Opal Scherer of Cape Girardeau, Lorene Horrell and Hester Vinyard of Jackson; and five grandchildren.

Friends may call at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. today. Parish prayers will be at 7:30.

Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Immaculate Church, with Msgr. Edward Eftink officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery.
