ANNISTON, Mo. -- Funeral for Leatta Whybark of Anniston will be held at 2 p.m. today at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie, Mo. The Rev. Ernest Brown will officiate. Burial will be in Anniston Cemetery.

Whybark, 83, died Thursday, March 8, 2001, at East Prairie Nursing Center.

She was born Sept. 11, 1917, near Anniston, daughter of Jesse and Iva Grubbs. She married Guy Whybark, who died in 1975.

Whybark lived in Anniston all her life and was a member of Pultight Church of God.

Survivors include three sons, James Whybark of East Prairie, Gary Whybark of Anniston, Kenny Whybark of Matthews, Mo.; a daughter, Linda Burner of Fayetteville, Tenn.; a brother, Junior Grubbs of Jackson, Mich.; a sister, Emily Siggers of Jackson, Mich.; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, a brother and two sisters.
