Leon J. Dannenmueller, 86, 820 Perry Avenue, died Friday, Aug. 26, 1996, at St. Francis Medical Center.
He was born Jan. 29, 1910, in Kelso, son of Otto J. and Annie Gosche Dannenmueller. He and Viola Clara Bollinger were married Nov. 28, 1935, at Benton.
Dannenmueller was an electrician with International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers 45 years, retiring in 1978. He was a member of St. Vincent's Catholic Church and had been an usher. He was a member of Elks Lodge.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Robert Dannenmueller of Creve Coeur; three daughters, Shirley Palen and Judie Herbst of Cape Girardeau, Janet Singer of Coral Springs, Fla.; 13 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 4-8 p.m. Sunday. An Elks service will be held at 7 and the rosary at 7:30.
Funeral Mass will be at 1 p.m. Monday at St. Vincent's, with the Rev. Milton Ryan officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
