LEBANON, Tenn. -- Lester Keith McGill, 59, of Lebanon and formerly of Mound City, Ill., died Wednesday, April 8, 1998, at Sumner Regional Medical Center in Gallatin, Tenn.
He was born July 24, 1938, son of Russell and June Trammel McGill. He was a quality control manager for the Imperial Corp. and a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife, Norma, of Lebanon; a stepdaughter, Kimberly Pharris of Madison, Tenn.; a grandson; a brother, Lynn McGill of Mound City; and three sisters, Barbara Crecilus and Linda Johnson, both of Mound City, and Doris Funston of Trona, Calif.
Visitation is from 2 to 4 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 Saturday at the Cole and Garrett Funeral Home in Hendersonville, Tenn., and from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday at Barkett Funeral Home in Mound City. Graveside service will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at the National Cemetery in Mound City, with the Rev. Anthony Underwood officiating.
