PENSACOLA, Fla. -- Lillian H. Menzel, 94, of Pensacola died Friday, Jan. 15, 1999, at Arbors Nursing Home in Pensacola.
She was born June 29, 1904, in Shelbyville, Ill., daughter of Hiram and Frances Talley Shirrell.
She married Richard C. Menzel. He died in 1983.

She was a homemaker and of the Lutheran faith.
Survivors are a brother, Jim Shirrell of Poplar Bluff, and a granddaughter, Patricia Barnes of Pensacola.
Graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m. today at Memorial Park Cemetery, with the Barry L. Pfanstiel officiating.
Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
