Funeral service for Linda Blattel Gee, 1601 Brucher, was held Saturday at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel. The Rev. Louis Launhardt officiated, with burial in Memorial Park. Gee, 66, died Wednesday, Dec. 30, 1992, at Southeast Missouri Hospital. She was born Sept. 19, 1926, near Fredericktown, daughter of Avery and Jane Dorris Green. Gee, 66, died Wednesday, Dec. 30, 1992, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

She was born Sept. 19, 1926, near Fredericktown, daughter of Avery and Jane Dorris Green. She married Earl Blattel Feb. 13, 1942. She later married William Gee March 21, 1986, in Las Vegas, Nev.

Gee was a beautician more than 30 years. She had lived in Cape Girardeau, Ventura, Calif., and moved back here three weeks ago from North Little Rock, Ark.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Thomas Blattel of Cape Girardeau, Jerry Blattel of Gordonville; three brothers, Buford Green of Cahokia, Ill., Leamon and Lloyd Green of Scott City; three sisters, Beulah McEachen and Dottie Bretzel of Scott City, Letha Rodgers of Atlanta, Ga.; four grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by a brother.
