SCOTT CITY, Mo. -- Linda L. Reeves, 54, of Scott City died Sunday, Aug. 19, 2001, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Jan. 22, 1947, at Bernie, Mo., daughter of Jesse James and Dovie Sue Worley Reeves.
Reeves was a 1965 graduate of Bloomfield High School at Bloomfield, Mo. She worked at First National Bank in Poplar Bluff, Mo., more than 20 years, and worked at WBM two years. She lived at Dexter, Mo., several years and had lived in Scott City 15 years.
She was a member of First Baptist Church in Scott City, and Poplar Bluff Chamber of Commerce.
Survivors include a son, Lance Benson of Scott City; two brothers, Webb Reeves of Dexter, Gary Reeves of Scott City; five sisters, Donna Underwood and Karen Wallace of Cape Girardeau, Norma Moore of Bernie, Yvonne Wineman of Bonne Terre, Mo., and Janice Parker of Acworth, Ga.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, four brother, and two sisters.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. The Revs. Terry Eades and Derek Staples will officiate. Burial will be in Bernie Cemetery at Bernie.
