MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Lindall H. Liley, 88, passed away July 24, 2018, at Woodland Hills Nursing in Marble Hill.
He was born Aug. 22, 1929, near Lutesville, Missouri, son of William O. and Elsie L. Eaker Liley. He and Phyllis Jo Gibson were united in marriage Feb 2, 1973, and she preceded him in death Aug. 30, 2000.
Lindall was a farmer, merchant, charter member of Cottage of Grace General Baptist Church, 50-year member of the Masonic lodge and a member of Scottish Rite, and in later years he loved working mules and taking trail rides with friends.
Survivors include his son Jason (Sharon) Liley of Marble Hill; stepson, Gene David (Willy) Ward of Marble Hill; stepdaughter, Sandi (the late Steve) Long of Glenallen, Missouri; brother, Kenneth (Judy) Liley of Marble Hill; sister-in-law, Elwanda Liley of East Alton, Illinois; 13 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death in addition to his wife was one brother, Juel Liley, and his parents.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Gerald Huff officiating. Burial will be in the Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery, near Marble Hill.
