LINDELL WATKINS

BERNIE -- Lindell Watkins, 77, of Bernie died Tuesday, Sept. 7, 1999, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born May 28, 1922, at Patterson, the son of William Watkins and Nora Ellen Croney Watkins Faith. He and Oniece Embrey were married at Malden on Sept. 24, 1941.

He is survived by his wife; four sons, Robert Wayne Watkins of California, Md., Ronald Watkins of Paducah, Ky., Roy Watkins of Sikeston and Glendell Ray Watkins of Bernie; three sisters, Barbara Sue Hover of Harviel, Shirley Wolters of Springfield, Mo., and Linda Faye Davis of Haleyville, Ala; three brothers, Clyde Faith of Collinsville, Ill., Jewell Faith of Granite City, Ill., and Samuel Niel Faith of California, Mo.; 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a sister.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Friday at the Rainey Funeral Home in Bernie.

Funeral will be at the Rainey Chapel at 11 a.m. Saturday with Harmon Brown and the Rev. Carl Smith officiating.

Burial will be at the Bernie Cemetery.
