Funeral for Linus Emil Dohogne of Paragould, Ark., was held Tuesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, with the Rev. Joseph Kay officiating. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery in Paragould.

Heath Funeral Home in Paragould was in charge of arrangements.

Dohogne, 86, died Saturday, April 11, 1998, at Arkansas Methodist Hospital.

He was born Dec. 22, 1911, at Kelso, son of Leo and Louise Dohogne.

Dohogne was general manager of Arbyrd Compress Co. from 1936 until retiring, and was employed in various capacities by Bertig Cotton Co. during that time.

He was a past president of National Cotton Compress and Warehouse Association, and served as consultant on the research and development committee.

Dohogne was a member of St. Mary's Church, and 4th Degree member of Knights of Columbus.

Survivors include his wife, Virginia; a son, Ranney Dohogne of St. Louis; a daughter, Martha Gramling of Jonesboro, Ark.; four brothers, Anthony and Silas Dohogne of Cape Girardeau, Tiber Dohogne of St. Louis, Urban Dohogne of Paragould; two sisters, Viola Dohogne and Ada Roussell of Cape Girardeau; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a sister and two brothers.
