JACKSON -- Funeral service for Lloyd R. Lowes of Henderson, Nev., will be held today at Palm Funeral Home in Henderson. Lowes, 80, died Saturday, Sept. 14, 1996, at St. Rose of Lima Hospital in Henderson. He was born Aug. 20, 1916, on a farm near Jackson, son of Ed and Augusta Grebe Lowes. JACKSON -- Funeral service for Lloyd R. Lowes of Henderson, Nev., will be held today at Palm Funeral Home in Henderson.

Lowes, 80, died Saturday, Sept. 14, 1996, at St. Rose of Lima Hospital in Henderson.

He was born Aug. 20, 1916, on a farm near Jackson, son of Ed and Augusta Grebe Lowes. He and Ula Brown were married in 1948.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Robert Kaempfer; a daughter, Patty Eighmy; two stepsons, Leon and Jack Kaempfer, all of the Henderson area; a brother, Leonard Lowes of Cape Girardeau; two half sisters, Veneta Higgison of Henderson, Blanche Rhodes of Portland, Ore.; 13 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers.
