Lois E. Ray, 67, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, March 12, 1998, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

She was born July 5, 1930, at Cape Girardeau, the daughter of Orville A. and Helen R. Stewart Howell.

She was formerly employed by Southeast Missouri State University in food service management.

She is survived by a son, Stan Ray of Nixa; a daughter, Diana Osborn of Poplar Bluff; a brother, Larry Howell of Carmel, Ind.; and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson.

Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Bill Ellis and Mark Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
