LOIS FURLONG

EAST PRAIRIE -- Funeral service for Lois Mosier Furlong of East Prairie will be held at 11 a.m. today at Shelby Funeral Chapel in East Prairie. James Bolden will officiate, with burial in IOOF Cemetery near Charleston.

Furlong, 73, died Sunday, Oct. 15, 1995, at Bertrand Nursing Center in Bertrand.

She was born Oct. 17, 1921, in Udall, daughter of Sam and Nancy Isom Dean. She married John Mosier Jan. 21, 1941. He died in 1950. She and Edgar Furlong were married March 25, 1952. He died Dec. 30, 1988.

Survivors include a son, John Mosier of Scott City; seven grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, three brothers, three sisters and a granddaughter.
