ADVANCE, Mo. -- Loren E. Jackson, 83, of Advance died Sunday, March 17, 2002, at his home.
He was born April 19, 1918, at Cape Girardeau, son of James Marvin and Mary Ann Smith Jackson. He and Elva Watkins were married June 15, 1954, at Jackson, Mo.
Jackson was a farmer and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Jerry Jackson of Qulin, Mo., Jimmy Jackson of Advance and Shawn Jackson, also of Advance; a daughter, Linda Eddie of Texas; six grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; and two stepgrandchidlren.
He was preceded in death by a son.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the chapel, with John Tolbert officiating. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park in Advance.
