ULLIN, Ill. -- Lorene Dexter, 81, of Memphis, Tenn., formerly of Ullin, died Thursday, Feb. 9, 1995, at Methodist Hospital Central in Memphis.

She was born Nov. 29, 1913, in Alexander County, daughter of Harvey William and Amanda Eleanor Hartman Dexter.

Dexter was a clerk in the paper industry in Memphis for many years. She was a member of an Assembly of God Church in Memphis.

Survivors include cousins.

Friends may call at Crain Funeral Home in Ullin after 6 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Sue Miller officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery.
