ALTENBURG -- Lorene Zoellner, 80, of Altenburg, died Monday, Jan. 31, 2000, at her home. She was born Jan. 5, 1920, at Altenburg, daughter of Adolph and Emilie Fiedler Petzoldt. She and Albert E. Zoellner were married Oct. 25, 1941, at Altenburg. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and its choir...

ALTENBURG -- Lorene Zoellner, 80, of Altenburg, died Monday, Jan. 31, 2000, at her home.

She was born Jan. 5, 1920, at Altenburg, daughter of Adolph and Emilie Fiedler Petzoldt. She and Albert E. Zoellner were married Oct. 25, 1941, at Altenburg.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and its choir.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Kathy Schlimpert of Altenburg; a sister, Florence Telle of O'Fallon; four granddaughters; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and a sister.

Visitation will be from 5-8 tonight at Young and Sons East Perry Funeral Chapel in Altenburg and again from 6:30-8:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Al Strand officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
