JONESBORO, Ill. -- Louise Corzine, 86, of Florissant, Mo., formerly of Union County, died Saturday, May 20, 2006, at her home.

She was born Nov. 21, 1919, in Jonesboro, daughter of Charles Fredrick and Cora Lee Batson Lowrance. She and Richard Corzine were married April 1, 1939, in Jackson. He died Nov. 8, 1998.

Corzine had been a retail clerk.

Survivors include a son, Stephen Corzine of Florissant; two sisters, Edna Hess of Metropolis, Ill., Ida Modglin of Anna, Ill.; a granddaughter; and two great-granddaughters.

She was preceded in death by an infant son and a brother.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. to service time Saturday at Hileman Funeral Home.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Al Campbell officiating. Burial will be in Jonesboro Cemetery.
