TAMMS, Ill. -- Lucy Mae Smith, 80, of Tamms died Wednesday, Oct. 16, 1996, at Fountainbleau Lodge in Cape Girardeau, Mo.

She was born July 3, 1916, in Elco, daughter of William and Josephine Victoria Dailey. She married Robert "Rob" Smith Jr., who died March 6, 1990.

Survivors include three sons, Rodney Smith of Benton, Ky., Graydon Smith of Carbondale, Mike Smith of Dracut, Mass.; two daughters, Joyce Carson of Glen Carbon, Vicky Baker of Tamms; a sister, Goldie Smith of Tamms; two brothers, Lester "Tex" Dailey of Cape Girardeau, John Dailey of Moro; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.

Friends may call at Jones Funeral Home in Tamms after 5 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Billy Don Heady officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery near Dongola.
