TAMMS, Ill. -- Lula Pauline Dunn Moss, 87, of O'Fallon, Ill., formerly of Tamms, passed away Thursday, Oct. 18, 2012, at the home of a daughter and son-in-law in O'Fallon.
She was born Feb. 1, 1925, in Tamms, daughter of Herschel Lee and Clara Mae Lacey Dunn.
Mrs. Dunn was of the Baptist belief.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Albert Lee Moss in 1974; a son, Larry Don Moss; a sister, Alene Vines; three brothers, Jasper Leroy, Herschel W., and Richard Dunn; a granddaughter, Amber Helm; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Survivors include a son, Robert Lee (Shirley) Moss of Dutchtown; a daughter, Shirley (Dave) Kellick of O'Fallon; a brother, James Robert Dunn of Olive Branch, Ill.; seven grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren; and several dear nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Sunday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Jones Funeral Home in Tamms.
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Tom Bridges officiating. Interment will be in McKinley Chapel Cemetery (Lake of Egypt) south of Marion, Ill.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of memorials to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Tribute Program, St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tenn., 38105-9142, in memory of Mrs. Moss.
