Lydia Caroline Jordon, 86, of Cape Girardeau, died Tuesday, June 9, 1992, at Cape LaCroix.
She was born March 8, 1906, at Gordonville, daughter of Henry and Sophia Voss Muster. She married Trentis Jordon Aug. 17, 1929, in Cape Girardeau. He died Oct. 23, 1979.
Jordon was a cook at St. Vincent's College 15 years, and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ.
Survivors include six sons, Walter Jordon of Gladstone, Kan., Charles Jordon of Ferguson, Albert Jordon of Cape Girardeau, Willard Jordon of Connecticut, James Jordon of Fairfield, Pa., Paul Jordon of Roswell, N.M.; five daughters, Ruth Moore of Kansas, Wanda Latta of Arlington, Va., Edna Prokop of Meriden, Kan., Mary Hartis of Dutchtown, Joyce Baugh of Valrico, Fla.; a brother, Henry Muster of Springfield, Ill.; two sisters, Edna Eggimann of Taylorville, Ill., Marie Blumenberg of Whitewater; 35 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at the chapel at 1:30 p.m. Friday. Delbert Mueller will officiate, with burial in Lorimier Cemetery.
