PATTON -- Mabel Irene Limbaugh, 84, died Wednesday, Sept. 23, 1998, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Oct. 28, 1913, at Patton, daughter of Jesse C. and Bertha F. Tinnin Harper. She and Loy J. Limbaugh were married Aug. 28, 1932. He died Dec. 17, 1994.
Limbaugh was a homemaker and a member of the Pine Hill United Methodist Church. She also was active in the Community Closet at Pine Hill.
Survivors include a son, Jim Limbaugh of Bradenton, Fla.; two daughters, Linda Mungle of Patton and Brenda Evans of Cahokia, Ill.; two brothers, Bob Harper of Potosi and Cecil Harper of Fredericktown; a sister, Lona Brotherton of Patton; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and an infant sister.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the Liley Funeral Home in Patton.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at the funeral chapel, with the Rev. W.D. Snyder officiating. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery near Patton.
