JONESBORO, Ill. -- Funeral for Mae Cerney of Jonesboro will be held at 3 p.m. today at Hileman and Parr Funeral Home. Burial will be in Ebenezer Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until service time.
Cerney, 90, died Monday, Jan. 31, 2000, at Jonesboro Healthcare Center.
She was born Oct. 31, 1909, in Jonesboro, daughter of Levi and Julia Dukes Miller. She and Ernest Cerney were married July 4, 1931, in Union County. He died Dec. 9, 1982.
Cerney was a member of World Wide Church of God.
Survivors include a son, Donald Cerney of Jonesboro; a sister, Geneva Dale of Cobden; a brother, Owen Miller of Jonesboro; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
