CAIRO, Ill. -- Mae Ella Cummins, 76, of Cairo, died Wednesday, Jan. 1, 1992, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Mo.
She was born Nov. 15, 1915, in Mound City, daughter of Tilly and Emma Joyner Hawf. She married Will Cummins.
Cummins was a member of Cairo Baptist Church and American Legion Auxiliary.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Ruth Ice of Collierville, Tenn.; two sons, Jerry Cummins of Jackson, Mo., Jim Cummins of Atlanta, Ga.; a sister, Eileen Reitz of St. Louis; a brother, Terry Hawf of St. Louis, and five grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 12:30 p.m. Friday at Barkett Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Larry L. Potts will officiate, with burial in Mound City National Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. today.
