COBDEN, Ill. -- Mae H. Flamm, 90, of Cobden, died Tuesday, Feb. 14, 1995, at Union County Hospital in Anna.
She was born Jan. 21, 1905, in Alto Pass, daughter of James A. and Anna Mary Blessing Hodges. She and Fred C. Flamm were married Aug. 23, 1926, at Cobden. He died March 29, 1990.
The couple owned and operated Flamm's Cafe in Cobden 25 years. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, and member and past president of Cobden American Legion Auxiliary.
Survivors include a son, Charles Flamm of Cobden; two daughters, Ethel Blunt and Marlene Rich of Cobden; a sister, Ruth Hunter of Carbondale; a brother, Thomas Hodges of Melrose Park; 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Frederick; a daughter, Audrey Vitt; two grandsons, two brothers and three sisters.
Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Cobden after 6 p.m. today. The rosary will be at 8.
Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with the Rev. Federico Higuera officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
