ULLIN, Ill. -- Maggie O. Egner Stamper, 83, of Crosby, Texas, died Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2001, in Crosby.

She was born July 6, 1917, at Ullin, daughter of Herbert and Maggie Williams Day. She first married Van Floyd Egner, who died June 29, 1970. She later married Warner Stamper.

Stamper was a retired electronic keyboard technician. She attended First Baptist Church in Crosby.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Ronald Egner of Crosby, Kent Egner of Washburn, Ill.; two daughters, Shelby Millich of Crosby; two sisters, Edith Minnerich of Redford, Mich., Katherine Pierce of Livonia, Mich.; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at First Baptist Church in Crosby. Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Green Lawn Memorial Gardens in Villa Ridge, Ill.

Jones Funeral Home in Villa Ridge is in charge of arrangements.
