SIKESTON -- Marc Joseph Alberts, 35, of Lavergne, Tenn., died Friday, March 14, 1997, in Lavergne. He was born July 28, 1961, in Fremont, Calif., son of Russell and Theresa Vandette Alberts. SIKESTON -- Marc Joseph Alberts, 35, of Lavergne, Tenn., died Friday, March 14, 1997, in Lavergne.

He was born July 28, 1961, in Fremont, Calif., son of Russell and Theresa Vandette Alberts. He and Benita Beck were married Dec. 26, 1987.

Alberts was a 1979 graduate of Sikeston High School, and 1985 graduate of Murray State University in Murray, Ky.

He was a salesman with Shamrock Medical Products.

Survivors include his wife; his parents of Las Vegas, Nev.; two brothers, David Alberts of Memphis, Tenn., Chris Alberts of Sikeston; and a sister, Michelle Glaus of Sikeston.

There is no visitation.

Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, with Msgr. William Stanton officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
