Margie Rose McAnally, 80, of Jackson died Friday, May 24, 2013, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Sept. 18, 1932, in Cape Girardeau to Darl F. and Selma E. Heise Schwettman.

She graduated from College High School in Cape Girardeau.

Margie was a secretary at the Common Pleas Courthouse in Cape Girardeau and later was owner and operator of Margie's Pie & Cake Factory for 11 years. She then went to work as a cook at A.E.P. River Operations in Paducah, Ky. She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Chapel and VFW Post 3838 Auxiliary.

Survivors include a son, Mike (Anita Buchheit) Hartle of Jackson; a daughter, Debra (Rodney) Riehn of Jackson; a brother, Jack (Evon) Schwettman of Jackson; five grandchildren, Thomas Hartle, Rodney Riehn II, Jessica Sumner, Shyanna Riehn and Abby Hartle; three great-grandchildren, Presley Sumner, Hayden Michael Sumner and Jackson Thomas Hartle; and a special friend, Billy Joe Speers of Cape Girardeau.

She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant son, Charles Hartle; and two brothers, Jim Schwettman and Jerry Schwettman.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel and from noon until time of service Tuesday at Good Shepherd Lutheran Chapel.

The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the chapel, with the Rev. Barry L. Pfanstiel officiating. Burial will be at Hanover Lutheran Church Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.

Memorial contributions may be made to Good Shephard Lutheran Chapel building fund.
