Genuit, 89, died Sunday, July 4, 1993, at Chateau Girardeau Health Center.

She was born Nov. 1, 1903, at Butler, daughter of Samuel Fletcher and Sarah Eliza Powers Warnock. She and Stark O. Genuit were married May 26, 1928, at Butler. He died Oct. 31, 1959.

Genuit received a bachelor of science degree from the University of Missouri, and was a caseworker with St. Louis County Child Welfare for 20 years. She was a member of Central Presbyterian Church in Clayton.

Survivors include a daughter, Barbara Port of Cape Girardeau; two grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
