Mary Marie Page Ledbetter, 88, of Scott City died Tuesday, Aug. 17, 2010, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. She was born March 24, 1922, at Perkins, Mo., to Ivory Cecil and Mattie Higgs Turner. She married Hugh Wesley Page on April 22, 1944. He preceded her in death May 28, 1981...

Mary Marie Page Ledbetter, 88, of Scott City died Tuesday, Aug. 17, 2010, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born March 24, 1922, at Perkins, Mo., to Ivory Cecil and Mattie Higgs Turner. She married Hugh Wesley Page on April 22, 1944. He preceded her in death May 28, 1981.

Marie was a seamstress at Ely Walker Co. She was a member of VFW Post 6407 Ladies Auxiliary.

Survivors include two sons, Cecil Lee (Niki) Page of Westland, Mich., Kenny (Diane) Page of Scott City; nine grandchildren, Michelle Page, Michael Page, Donald Page, Christie (Andy) Rogers, Amy (Stephen) O'Brien, Jennifer (Norman) Brant, Pamela (Johnny) Carter, Wesley (Allison) Page, Cody Page; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, a grandchild and a great-grandchild.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the chapel, with the Rev. Robert Herring officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Memorial Cemetery.
