MARILDA KOENIG

Marilda Pauline Anna Koenig, 84, of Arcadia, formerly of Cape Girardeau, died Monday, Feb. 19, 1996, in Arcadia Valley Hospital.

He was born April 6, 1911, in Bancroft, Neb., daughter of Fred and Anna Tietz Brehmen. She and Frederick Joseph Koenig were married Feb. 25, 1934. He died Feb. 19, 1976.

Koenig had been a cafeteria manager with Cape Girardeau Public Schools, and worked at Dollar General Store in Ironton. She was a member of Arcadia Valley United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Dorothy Cox of Arcadia; a brother, Edgar Brehmen of Bancroft; two sisters, Evelyn Langan of Apache Junction, Ariz., Viola Doescher of Grants Pass, Ore.; two grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren, and three great-stepgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Bryson Funeral Home in Ironton, with the Rev. John Maynard officiating. Burial will be in Ironton Masonic Cemetery.
