CHAFFEE, Mo. — Mark Robert Sides, 18, of Chaffee died Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2009, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. He was born July 30, 1990, in Sikeston, Mo., son of Mark Lawrence Sides and Francesca Metz. CHAFFEE, Mo. — Mark Robert Sides, 18, of Chaffee died Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2009, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born July 30, 1990, in Sikeston, Mo., son of Mark Lawrence Sides and Francesca Metz.

Sides was a student at Parkview State School in Cape Girardeau and a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Chaffee.

Survivors include his parents of Chaffee; a brother, Joseph Metz; a sister, Lisa Poteete; paternal grandmother, Virginia Sides, all of Chaffee; and maternal grandfather, Frank Cook of St. Louis.

Visitation will be after 4 p.m. Saturday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.

The funeral will be at 8 p.m. Saturday at the chapel, with the Rev. Ralph Duffner officiating.
