SCOTT CITY -- Marsha Jean Holder Perner, 47, of Maryland Heights, formerly of Scott City, died Tuesday, April 14, 1998, at her home.
She was born Sept. 7, 1950, at Detroit, Mich., the daughter of Otto Emil and Ethel Nadine Boyd Holder.
She married John E. Perner Sr. on April 12, 1975, at Las Vegas, Nev.
She was the assistant manager at First Bank in Town and Country.
She had lived in Scott City for six years and moved to Maryland Heights two years ago. She previously had lived in Scottsdale, Ariz. She was a member of Arlington United Methodist Church in Bridgeport.
Survivors include her mother of Scott City; her husband of Maryland Heights, a son, John Perner Jr. of St. Louis; a daughter, Jennifer Mills of Tucson, Ariz.; two brothers, Ben Holder of Phoenix, Ariz., and Michael Holder of Troy, Mich.; four sisters, Emily Chateavert of Sealy, Texas, Janine Rosenberg of O'Fallon, Shelly Hester of St. Charles and Terry Treadway of Maryland Heights; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Visitation will be after noon Friday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Jim Woeltje officiating. Burial will be at Lightner Memorial Cemetery in Scott City.
