BURFORDVILLE -- Martha Kinder, 90, of Burfordville, died Sunday, June 10, 1994, at the Deal Nursing Home in Jackson.

She was born Nov. 20, 1903, at Scopus, daughter of John and Lucinda Stroder Hahn.

She married Bertie Kinder, Feb. 11, 1928. He died June 28, 1975.

Kinder lived at Gravel Hill all her life. She was a life-long member of the Gravel Hill United Methodist Church.

She worked at the former International Shoe Factory in Jackson for 23 years, retiring in 1967. Kinder was in the Deal Nursing Home for the past 11 days.

Survivors include two sons, John Albert Kinder and Donald Kinder, both of Burfordville; a brother, Ed Hahn of Jackson; a sister, Eula Bollinger of Jackson; seven grandchildren; three step-grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, eight brothers and two sisters.

Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at the McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with Bro. Jack Byrd officiating.

Burial will follow in Leslie Cemetery.
